What People Are Saying
I notice my community recognizing how rest creates abundance. It is a step outside of the cult of accomplishment and transactional relationships. Stacy models the practices of rest as a way of life, creating awareness of all the opportunity there is to see the world and daily experiences through a new lens: the body. I notice a different plane of existence when my mind is less active and I long to be there in my community more. I have more care for myself and thoughtfulness towards others. I recommend Stacy to spread restful wellness to your (hopefully very large) community. The earth needs us to meet on her plane.

As someone who has lived a life of hyper vigilance and hustling to “earn my spot,” Community Rest offerings, and the deep foundational shift that it is supporting for me, feels like the home I have finally found to embody true and deep healing— after trying many other fast and fleeting solutions that did not work and did not have longevity. Stacy’s Rest sessions have been a big part of that. Our time of practicing sacred presence together in session is spiritual food and personal ground-building work for me, and something that I carry with me out into all parts of my life. I feel different in my body on account of this work: slower, deeper, tempered, less frenzied— and for me, that means everything. Stacy is a witness, the kind you hope still exists in the world. She is curious and warm. She stays actively engaged in our sessions. Her ability to compassionately sit with me as I experience and explore the personal act of slowing down and noticing, is the solid ground that each session rests on. She works to make the container she shares with you a safe and collaborative one. Her knowledge and experience is expansive but it is the fusion of that with the heart and soul that Stacy brings to her work, that make the possibilities in session abundant. I have never felt self-conscious in my sessions with Stacy, and I have a deep history of anxious behavior and self-doubt about bringing my authentic self to any table. Stacy makes you feel like all of you is welcome in the room, and that you have permission to come as you are. For someone with anxiety, PTSD, and a person recovering from trauma, that in itself is invaluable. Stacy is both emotional and cerebral. The cerebral part of her equips her to create sessions that are experiential and active— for example, she is deeply skilled at incorporating the healing power of music: ancestral hues, ritual, song, and dance into our sessions. And, her emotional side makes her a deep noticer and a feeler. Time with Stacy feels like both a joyful gathering of dance where everyone is welcome, as well as a quiet, holy, and sacred chapel hall. With Stacy, those two are practically the same thing. There is space for both joy and grief here, and sometimes they get to happen at the same time. Stacy attunes herself to you when in session and does not rush you through the process. I have seen her shift and take a side-road in session because it was what I was calling out for with my nervous system, and she heard that, and responded to the moment, and to me. I felt so safe in our container, and that is largely because of the love she radiates out that guides her work. I would recommend Rest offerings or Stacy’s Mind/Body Coaching offerings to anyone who wants accountability in the work of recovering from a life of people-pleasing, anyone who is trying to allow themselves to take up space and choose themselves and their needs for possibly the first time, someone who lives with chronic illness and is trying to settle back into their body after seasons of medical unrest and frenzy, and anyone who wants/needs a gentle and honest invitation to finding communion with themselves again, as well as a reminder of the healing power of community, while they’re at it. This work reminds me that both self-regulation and co-regulation are essential to this path of healing.
